TROIKA DIALOG
LONDON
Troika Dialog’s core lines of business are International Securities Sales and Trading, Investment Banking, Private Wealth and Asset Management, Retail Distribution and Alternative Investments. The interior design for this project had to be of a very high quality and specification; the project has reflections of Troika’s flagship office in Moscow. The design was implemented and designed by the founding members of Pure Design Group, Ann, John Mullen and Warren Martin.
The project consisted of Trading floor with executive and general offices, reception area and meeting suites, plus general support areas. The reception area flaunts lightly coloured walls behind a feature, French pebbled reception desk, lacquer and veneered timber panelling, and electronically controlled frosted glass leading to private conference rooms. The furniture used throughout is both modern and classic: Eames lounge chairs, and Pininfarina-designed red task chairs for the Trading floor.
French Pebbles
The reception desk contains French pebbles secured in a steel mesh and covered with glass. A spreader plate was required on the floor to carry the load. Ann physically helped fill the desk with the pebbles in order to achieve the desired look.
