AMI’s Interior design enhanced the M&P brand on this site by installing M&P’s first New Media wall, a living billboard and means of communication with the world. We also installed an interactive giant-sized touch screen iPad on an interior wall, designed a new style reception desk, added LED light pockets and fitted lowered light pendants to complement the beautiful high ceilings on this site. All rear windows were replaced to bring additional light to the office space.
Innovative technologies in interior design
With its constantly changing imagery, the media wall is a living billboard and means of communication with the world, both inside and out. The placement of the media wall disguised a large, unsightly column and brought vitality and energy to a narrow space.
Floating Signage
Planning restrictions on the building’s exterior dictated that the existing horizontal Mullen lines were to be used as the guiding height for the signage. These dimensions were disproportionately wide and spoilt the overall aesthetic, so we instead designed and created a glass and stained Seple wood facia for above the entrance. This simple signage detail allows the elegant brand logo to ‘float’ on the glass.
